William S. Marshall has over 30 years of experience and devotes substantially all of his practice to family law in Suffolk and Middlesex Counties. He specializes in the trial of complex custody disputes and high conflict divorces. Attorney Marshall also has experience with complex issues relating to federal income tax and business valuation. He also serves as a Special Master and as the court-appointed attorney for minor children in contested custody cases.

Attorney Marshall is a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Boston Bar Association. He is a frequent lecturer and presented programs on domestic relations issues to major bar associates throughout the country. He is an avid sailor who competes nationally in the "J" Class, and he plays tennis in the off season.

Attorney Marshall is a 1970 graduate of Harvard Law School where he served as "Notes Editor" on the Law Review. He received a Master of Law Degree in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in 1975, and a Bachelor's degree magna cum laude in politics from New York University's Washington Square College.
